His father is French-Canadian and his mother is English-Canadian. He graduated from Dawson College Theatre program in 2001.Jon Lajoie first became popular through the music video "Everyday Normal Guy", where he ironically in contrast to typical rap songs, run-of-the-mill daily activities and his calm nature.
