Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was born on Nov. 1, 1973 is an Indian film actor. She worked as a model before his acting career, and eventually won the Miss World Pageant in 1994.
Rai has acted in over 40 films in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali. Often quoted by media as "the most beautiful woman in the world."

Rai has established itself as one of the leading actresses in Bollywood. Rais off-screen roles include tasks such as brand ambassador for various charities and campaigns. She has been on the cover of Vogue three times. Aishwarya Rai is a two-time winner of the Filmfare Best Actress Award, and has been nominated for the Filmfare Awards eleven times. She has won several times at the International Indian Film Academy Awards, Star Screen Awards, Zee Cine Awards, and others.
