Caitlin Sanchez is born January 17, 1996 is an American actress best known for casting the main character Dora the Nickelodeon animated series for children Dora the Explorer.
She is a jazz fan who has played piano since she was five and enjoys listening to music of John Coltrane and Thelonious Monk and vocalists Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.
In 2008, Sanchez took the voice role of the seven year old starred in Dora the Explorer. She was chosen among 600 girls who auditioned for the role.
Sanchez performed the national anthem for the New Jersey Nets game on 21 November 2009.
