Silverback James Harrison is born 4 May 1978. James Harrison is a American football linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League. He was signed by the Steelers as a undrafted free agent in 2002. A three time Pro Bowl selection Harrison got Super Bowl rings with the Steelers in Super Bowl XL and Super Bowl XLlll.
He grew up in Akron and his favorite NFL team was the Cleveland Browns who played only 40 miles from his house. His mother does not want him to play on first. When he began to play he excelled at both linebacker and running back. He attended two high schools his freshman year Archbishop Hoban High School and Buchtel High School, before attending Coventry High School.
Harrison spent two years on and off the practice squad to Steelers will be released three times and was also briefly on the active roster at the end of 2002 season only playing special teams.
